Meet Candice September 

I always had a fascination with art and photography. I would buy cameras in my early adulthood and take pictures of everything. My uncle Bobby gifted me my Uncle Ronald's Canon SLR complete with a lens kit when he saw me taking pictures of his garden in Raeford, NC. I learned how to use it at Ritz Camera, brought a speed light, mad film and took crazy pictures at parties and whenever I traveled. When camera's went digital, I graduated to a Canon T6i then 70D DSLR, took classes and began looking at everything differently. I love photography and I aspire to improve with every opportunity , sharing what I see through the lens. 

People

I like to bring out the personality of others when shooting. Whether it is a personal portrait, holiday portraits with the family, I enjoy capturing others' authenticity in whatever environment the client is most comfortable. I encourage you to think out side the box, and invite you to consider something unique! If simple is your style, I can meet that need as well.

Places

I would love to travel more than I have, but when I do get the opportunity I try to find the beauty in simple things that  consider beautiful. My collection includes places I've traveled and local landmarks and environments that are new to me.

Things

I am evolving in my art by exploring projects I thought of over the years, mostly taking stills of subjects that tell a story. I am working on 2 projects in urban photography this year, bringing ideas to light and on film.
